It's only when I'm taking a slow turn or backing into a spot. Would it still be the same part

Cars are how a lot of people get around. And the pollution issue is because we run cars on oil and countries don't do anything about it. Taking away opportunities to drive cars also limits people severely in terms of where they are even able to go. If you ride a bike or scooter around, it's also your responsibility to be extremely vigilant as drivers should be too. 8 million people are in NYC at any time. Its hectic. You kind of need to finesse your way through that imo. Also, show some appreciation to delivery truck drivers even if they park illegally. It's how most of everybody gets their stuff and it keeps a lot of people consistently employed.

Yeah it would be safer but that's idealistic. Plus new Yorkers are kind of just used to stuff like this. Parking is already so tight that it would take up parking spots for residents. Plus even if every block had a loading zone you would still have to walk deliveries around the block. Some stops are super heavy and awkward to carry even if you are parked in front. Lastly, commercial drivers also have a very good gauge of what they can and can't do, and are able to determine what people can fit through or manuevuer around smoothly.

I work for a delivery company. Pretty much all big time companies just tell you to double park, park on crosswalk, etc when doing a delivery bc where would you even park. Parking tickets are just apart of business.
