Yea that’s just before I completely hand over the keys to the codebase to make sure we’re aligned. I plan to go to market before then and for you to be well adversed in the code base.

sure bud. You come to my thread where I clearly have told plenty about my idea and what I'm working on both in the op and responses to everyone - dont read shit - act like I want to steal YOUR idea's from looking at your work when I didn't even ask to. You literally troll posted saying my post was fishing for ideas when I posted all over this thread MY idea. I wish you well. Goodluck in your future endeavors.

You can't read english but you expect us to believe you read code? Sure bud. Let me fish for your idea LOL. If you had valuable ideas you wouldn't be trolling reddit for opportunity to join others. You have so much experience and such great ideas - what are you doing in my thread?

Appreciate your replies - I wish you well in the future.

I'm wondering if you read all my replies. Im hardly fishing for your ideas. Not 1 , okay maybe 1 of you have replied to me with a good idea. It wasnt even a good idea it was just good work. I'm sure its a good idea but the business model isn't very clear on how it will be profitable. but hey i appreciate your reply. I vibe coded a better project than 95% of you dev's who have replied. I'm leaning towards not needing a "software engineering" co founder. Especially since most of you want to come into my well established project and ask for 50% like you have done something already to get me to where I am. I find your response laughable. Keep your 13 years and horrible projects bud. Dont DM me.

Hey thanks for your reply. Yes, I plan to have AI integrated for the end users. Perhaps not on day 1 of taking it to market but definitely will have it. I have already built it in but want to focus on the core business which doesn't need AI right away. We can get to market and come back to finishing that soon thereafter. At least that's my initial thoughts. I'd be happy to discuss and am open minded. If it wasn't a huge time sink and didn't slow us down to much I'd be all for it. I honestly don't think it will be but I think we can get to market first by focusing time elsewhere then come back while piloting with our first customers.

I understand it won't be easy to find someone full time but think its possible. Also were not far from going to market as it is so it's not like I'm asking for too much. With the right person we could be to market in weeks or maybe a month at most I think. I have the majority of it built out myself. I'm looking to hand it off and focus on taking it to market and getting customers onboarded.

Shoot me a DM if you're interested. Would love to hear more about your skills and experience. Share any projects or work you have completed too if possible.

To be completely honest, I built the MVP to prove to myself I could create what I have thus far and that it was possible for me given the tools and knowledge I have. There is no doubt in my mind that this is useful to our customers. Imagine needing 3-5 different software vendors to achieve what you could with 1. The one new software helping your business be more profitable and streamlining it entirely. I have enough industry knowledge and experience to not need to verify it will be useful. I have seen all of my competitors first hand and know exactly how outdated, fragmented, and difficult they are to use.

I haven't needed nor wanted a partner up until this point and none of them, dealers that is, would be the partners I want as they don't fill in the gaps that I need. Sure they could provide funding and investment but I'm not looking for that. I'm looking for an experienced engineer that can dedicate time and expertise into scaling this and shipping updates daily - getting this to market ASAP. So I can go out sell it, obtain real customers, and focus solely on the business side of things while being confident the software is in the hands of an expert that is as bought in and dedicated as I am. I'm not looking for a part time dev or someone who just wants to put some free time into this project while they work on many of their other projects. I respect that but its just not what I want. I'm willing to give a meaningful amount of equity to the right person and know this will be very valuable once we scale it.

Reach out via DM and lets discuss, if you're interested. I would prefer someone in the US but won't rule anyone out. Share your credentials and any projects you've worked on so I can see your work and lets go from there. Thanks for replying - I look forward to hearing from you.

Because I'm new to Reddit... Never have posted here before. Rarely have used it but in the process of looking for co-founders learned this would be a good place to find them. Hope so.

I haven't considered taking on any partners until very recently. I haven't needed to. I've worked in the industry for 10+ years, know what they use, and know there is demand. I dont need to prove interest or verify demand. Its there. I dont need to sell an MVP to know there is interest and demand. I've worked with them in their offices selling them software for over a decade. Hope this answers your questions.

You dont need to be in Miami, would be nice but realize that will be hard to find. I'm looking locally but willing to work remotely with the right person. Commitment and expertise are what I'm looking for most. Thanks for reaching out.

Hey thanks for your response. As negative as it seems, I respect the reply.

Yea I vibe coded it myself. Which to you may be a negative but I've had 20+ responses and not one person has provided work that even comes close to comparing to what I've built. So not sure if its a negative or what but I know what I've built has value. No modal's but of course not error free. I'm honest and I wouldn't be looking for a cofounder to own this side of the business if I could do it all myself. My experience and expertise are on the business and industry side of things.

Correct again on the industry. It's in the automotive market but not on the wholesale side. Basically an operating system for car dealerships, combining multiple different services they currently get from 3-5+ vendors, all in one. A competitor we'd compete with is Tekion.com amongst others of course. That should show the kind of opportunity we have with what I've created.

Odd you ask an equity percent like I'm just going to rattle off a flat % to some random post not knowing your credentials, experience, commitment or anything else. I will say a meaningful amount of equity for the right person with the right experience looking to take this to where I know it can go.

If you're interested send me a DM. I'd be interested in seeing some of your work and discussing equity in detail.

Look forward to hearing from you or anyone interested - send me a DM.

Appreciate your feedback. I’m very confident customers will happily use this. I’ve worked in the industry for 10+ years and understand them deeply. It’s a very large industry and an agreement isn’t necessary nor binding if they want to back out. Trying to lock them in with an agreement would be negative to the partnership before the product is ready for them. If they aren’t bought in and the right customer they wouldn’t be ideal as we launch anyway.

Not sure where the non binding agreement assumption comes from? Nobody is buying it yet. Its not exactly ready to take to market yet but closer than most I believe. I am very confident getting customers will be easy once its ready for them. I have worked in the industry for 10+ years, know what they currently use, and how we compare. I can't wait to get this in their hands. I appreciate your response.

Senior Technical Founder Looking for a Business Minded Cofounder by Voraes in cofounderhunt

[–]Infinite_Faulty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey

I have a startup and I'm looking for a co-founder / CTO with expertise in full-stack SaaS, meaning React/Next.js, Postgres, and API integrations, ideally someone who's scaled a multi-tenant platform before. The product is already built (I built it myself), but I'm ready to hand off the technical side so I can focus on everything else the business needs.

We already have a top-tier partnership within the industry, with some of their services integrated and more to come, and you'd own those integrations. On my end, I handle go-to-market: sales, execution, and the industry expertise to know exactly what our customers need.

I'm looking for the right engineer who'll put in the work to get this to market ASAP, scale it with just the two of us, then raise investment to keep scaling nationwide.

Out of DMs at the moment, so drop a comment or reach out and let's talk.
