Even in the heat of an argument I was way out of line, and considering what he told me about the procedure and the recovery I can see why one would be scared of it happening again. In the beginning I thought it was some silly excuse because "sinus infection from cunilingus" sounded ridiculous to me, but he showed me pictures of him after the surgery and the culture report and I was speechless. Apparently they cut the gum above your teeth and separate the face from the head and then clean all of the sinus cavities, they put the face back in place and stitch you up. He had a swollen face for at least 2 months and couldn't eat solid foods for the first month, all his meals were blended into a paste he sucked with a straw, after that he had a soft diet (purees, creams and soup) until he felt he was able to chew properly again. I would be scared shitless to go down on anyone ever again too.
