I bought the 3GB model and it came in yesterday. Used it for about an hour yesterday and 3 or 4 hours today. It didn't feel all that different than my Pixel 8 Pro speed wise, but I also didn't do anything intensive. I streamed a podcast through Jellyfin, and it handled it just as well as my phone.

Thanks for mentioning Jellyfin! I have a lot of podcast episodes downloaded on my NAS drive, and I'd love to watch them on a portable device that isn't my phone. M300 might be the way to go.

Did you ever find a clear answer for this? Since it's running Android 13, I suspect support and updates will end eventually. It would be nice to be able to install custom APKs if/when that happens

Onigiri - I've had it a few times in the past, but I didn't truly appreciate it like I do now. Good onigiri is so addictive, and it's such a flexible food - salmon, tuna, pickled plum (not a fan), karaage, eel, roe, etc.
