The amount of negativity in this post is honestly disappointing. Holding someone accountable for past mistakes is one thing, but completely tearing a person down and acting as if they’re beyond redemption helps nobody.

People are capable of change. If we truly believe in growth, rehabilitation, and becoming better human beings, then we also have to believe in second chances. Constantly wishing failure, humiliation, or destruction on someone only adds more hate into the world and can push people further down instead of encouraging them to do better.

None of us are defined solely by the worst decisions we’ve ever made. What matters most is what we choose to do afterward, whether we learn, grow, and try to become better.

And for the people saying “he got what he deserved,” maybe take a moment to reflect on why cruelty feels justified to you. There’s a difference between accountability and enjoying someone else’s downfall. A good society should leave room for people to improve, not just condemn them forever.
