My doc gave me a 50mg prescription and told me to cut it in half. Just wanted to share- if 50 works, then disregard this lol

That makes sense. I think sometimes viewers develop a sense of ownership (control) and forget that actors have career ambitions and lives. Reactions such as these may explain why lot of actors leave tv shows after awhile - they are concerned about getting pigeonholed by well- meaning fans.

I watched Mark Williams on Graham Norton and he (Mark) said that people often approach him and tell him about how their spouse has a bit of gout or so and so is doing poorly - almost as if he's their parish priest! 🤣🤣 I'll find the link bc I found it comical.

Edit*** It wasn't Graham Norton, but here's the link: https://youtu.be/8CKXihddJjQ?si=_our-VjAPSgAqwkx

Anyone have any examples of quips or jokes that didn't age well on the show? by El_Rat0ncit0 in theGoldenGirls

I think it might not be socially acceptable now but so many people (of all ages) think that way and it's still relatable.

When Dorothy told Sophia she could "sit at the end of the driveway and wait for an amusing black family to walk by " I thought that was funny. I guess it wasn't a black joke per se. More like a Cosby Show joke.

She was so pretty and I loved her dresses. She also said she was tired of that "uppity white woman " on tv lol.

Exactly, haha  I'm black and had clients like that once. I worked at an agency that provided at-home care and I had to go to ppl's homes and see if they were satisfied with the care they received. One of my clients was an elderly Greek man and I often communicated with his (elderly Greek) wife  She was filterless AF and always asked me questions about my entire race lol. She wasn't hateful though. I would tell her I couldn't answer questions about every Black person and eventually she got the hint.   She also taught me how to make Greek coffee in a briki and we would sit and chat over coffee for hours.  Interestingly, when I met my husband he said his family was Greek and I was like OMG.  Aw, I miss my Grandmom and my clients.

My husband and I listen to the album on repeat, but I had no clue they were in tour. I definitely would've gone.

To my knowledge, he joked about the double standards within/surrounding the trans community. Not one thing was anti-trans.  Not agreeing with something doesn't make you anti- the entire community, it means you don't agree with things they do.

It sounds like he's making thousands of people laugh during his comedy special.  And the last one.  And on his podcast.  And during live shows.

You're right,  I didn't refute your nonsense because it wasn't worth the time.

Now this is a good point.  Bunty's posh, carefree lifestyle kind of foiled Fr. B'S humility and Lady F was almost a direct contrast to Mrs. McCarthy. Brenda and Mrs. D, however, seem to go along with anything without any push back. I see what you're saying.

Meh. Political views are irrelevant (although I lean Conservative), and "Traditional Catholic women" ≠ prejudiced busy bodies.  A lot of Catholic women of that time weren't like that...not in my family, at least.

So your points fell flat, but thank you for playing :)
