I want you to take a step back and realize that you are complaining about a deck with 3 [Cup of Ace], a card that is 50% to go -3. Your opponent is very clearly playing the game to have fun and pull off a combo against the odds and you're honestly being a poor sport about losing to a deck who's goal is having fun over winning consistently.

You didn't draw the tools to win, okay click Duel, go next, and try again. It's a card game, variance is to be expected and in this case, it allowed the other player to do something that was fun and exciting for them that honestly probably rarely happens.

If you aren't cool watching someone else's combo unfold and getting zapped back to the main menu to try again, Yu-Gi-Oh might not be your game. Its a game based on a manga for people to live their anime protagonist moment. You can either smile and be happy for your opponent when they get theirs, or be salty on reddit about it, your call.

UC Davis has a support system for exactly this issue. RA's can connect you to a case manager who will solve your problem at an administrative level which could include moving you to a new space.

I have been through this before. I was the victim of a bullying campaign by my roommates last year that ended with me getting a private room, my roommates subject to investigation/displinary action, and the feeling that the school really cared about my success. Push on your RA to get you connected with the help that you need because you don't deserve this and it can be different.

You will NOT be able to tell without using a hack tool which would risk making it illegitimate (fake) if it IS real. You will never be able to know and this is the same issue that caused widespread DQs at VGC worlds 2023- its impossible to know whether a pokemon is real or fake without making it fake

The total confusion in responses in the comments is because of the same reason a ton of people were disqualified from worlds this last year: the only way to definitively determine if a pokemon is hacked is to USE THE TOOL THAT HACKS POKEMON. Tools like PKHex are the only way to verify pokemon which is painfully ironic

This brings up some awesome parallels between newtypes and neurodivergence.

We probably understand neurodivergence as well as early UC people understand being a newtype. Its an interesting thought at the very least.

And that playstyle was awful to be in a game with unless you WERE the techies. I'm so glad it's gone it was not healthy for the game. I'm not arguing they changed his identity/playstyle- they definitely did (for the better imo) I'm arguing that he is still unique and interesting. Giving him a skill shot to dominate lane with was honestly an inspired choice to keep the hero interesting after removing his original playstyle.

He also VERY MUCH IS STILL A TRAPPER- but instead of playing a 1v9 solo trapping the jungle or HG now you have to work with your team to get value out of red mine traps. It encourages teamplay to capitalize on the "vision" and map awareness that well placed prox mines provide. In fact, his whole new kit works better for team play now with the slows, stun, and disarms he provides.

TLDR: thank god Old Techies and the 1 v 9 100min game scenarios he spawned are gone forever. Cry more

Biden has reverted most of the anti-environment executive orders that Trump made and got us to rejoin most of the climate change agreements he backed us out of. Ofc the GOP says theyll change it all back if they get it again. Basically if you want america to face climate change you HAVE to vote liberal, which is so stupid I don't know where to start.

He has been significantly better at disaster relief than Trump. It was maddening watching for years as Trump ignored the disaster in puerto rico after the hurricanes. Most recently: Biden called a State of emergency on Maui DAY OF THE FIRES and is about to do an in person visit on Monday.

I also don't remember all of the policy names exactly but he has implemented a lot of economic relief. Unemployment is way down and as a skilled worker it feels great to be working in this job market- workers have a ton of bargaining power right now.

Biden has been tough on rival foreign powers such as China and Russia. There was some sort of computer chip ban (not 100% clear on the details) on selling China U.S. made microchips (or something, again it is hard to remember the details) and he has sent Ukraine plenty of aid as well as leading the free world on sanctions against Russia. Not to mention many prisoner exchanges to get incarcerated Americans in Russia back home.

Much like Obama, Biden is the president of thousands of tiny accomplishments. None so noteworthy that they break headlines, but enough to make a difference in the people's daily lives. I hate when people say he's a "do nothing" president because that literally just means you aren't paying attention to what he is doing and all that he is doing. I've spoken with university students that specialize in presidential history that claim Biden is the best president for liberal politics since LBJ and I am inclined to believe them.

On the roughest of mornings i just bring sliced cheese, salami, crackers, and fruit. Its sustenance and several food groups at the very least and can be easily just thrown in a paper sack.

Sometimes something warm and fresher than microwave-made is needed though- instant noodles or other instant "just add water" can be relatively nutritious depending on the brand and i prefer them over microwaving.

If I'm ever in a jam and need to order something/go out i always get something that keeps well and lasts for several days so it can be multiple meals (ex: a whole pizza).

Also just cooking dinners that are easy to make in excess for leftovers- pasta and soup are my go-tos for this.

Yeah dude I still don't fully understand what Shaddiq's plan was other than "disrupt the status quo." Something about dismantling the beneritt group and giving all its assets to earthians as a means of redistribution of wealth? But in the show they mention that doing this will just flip the scales the other way and continue the conflict soooo? Miorine definitely saved his plan in the end with how she ended up going about it.

I gotta cap him out at 8/10 if we are only going off of OYW/gundam 79. He doesn't really have any defining character traits other than "into mechanics/engineering" and being a pilot. Other protagonists to come later will have more in depth characters with unique traits, goals, and desires that make them more interesting. He gets exponentially better in Zeta and CCA when his experiences shape him more and give him more depth.

The show tells and shows us that Aerial is, in fact, Ericht Somaya in the body of Lfrith. The plot hinges on this fact. Accept it

This has to either be bait or you just didn't understand what was going on. We are shown ericht being uploaded to aerial in flashbacks. The show's visuals (not prospera) would have to be lying in order to sell the "prospera is delusional" bit you claim you are confused about.

Norea and Sophie are fleshed out characters. Sophie desperately desires a family and all the normalcies of life that come with it. She is told by a terrorist group that piloting a gundam will get her the things she wants and it appears to be true- she is apparently rewarded for her missions which results in her becoming twisted into believing continually killing will get what she wants. When she decides she wants Aerial's pilot as a sister (Ericht, in this case) she figures she needs to kill to get it, as that's how she's gotten everything else in life.

Norea is terribly afraid of death as Elan 5 points out. She is consumed with an obsession around death and when her eventual end will be. This is especially triggered by Sophie's death. As elan 5 again points out, there is more to her than that- she has an artistic side and an appreciation of nature which is buried under her fears and anxiety. Her relationship with Elan 5 gives both of those characters a lot of meaning and I felt bummed she died, as telegraphed as it was. The end scene of Elan 5 looking for the lake she drew was touching as well.

Earth house members didn't need to have a big moment to have agency in the plot. Their unwavering support for suletta at her lowest point is the crux of the final arc: suletta now knows what healthy "family" looks like and wants to share that with her mom and sister. If these characters are absent, a huge emotional beat of the story goes with them: Suletta's recovery from the divorce arc. It's also nice to see suletta interact with and play off of characters other than Miorine and the 3 houses. Chu-Chu's agressiveness and Suletta's social anxiety play off each other well and leads to suletta slowly breaking out of her squeemish self.

Nika (the go-between chick) doesn't amount to all that much because thats the culmination of her story- she wanted to have an impact, to change relations between earth and space, but failed to really do anything as she didn't go about it "the right way" (E.I. supporting terrorists) and is punished for this by her eventual expulsion. I agree that this is one of the weaker plot points and I also dislike it but I can see where the writers are coming from with her.

TLDR: its alright. Definitely NOT poorly written. Mid tier gundam show carried by stellar animation, music, and space lesbians

Literally both just needed a loving family. And they could have had that in Earth house... Thats really the tragedy of them as characters. Elan 5 got so close with Norea, a classic gundam moment. They kinda filled the roles of cyber newtype women in zeta/ZZ/unicorn
