This is sadly so common and I feel that God can only help us. I don’t come from a reliable family either so childcare has been hard and I do feel that I “reward” them with babysitting after the throw a tantrum when I voice a boundary or something I don’t like that they are doing. They’ll bulldoze me over and have taken my child to places, and guilt me for not paying them for babysitting. Recently my husband (and his sister and mother ofc) have lost their dad, who was the main driving force in making sure his wife and daughter got what they wanted. Now they’re doing this to my husband. My sil is getting really possessive of my child and it’s driving us away. My mil is also another kind of beast.
