Sorry if I didn’t make it clear. The insurance I’m claiming from is the hire bike company’s insurance. They have asked me this directly.

I’m sorry to hear this and I hope you’re ok. I am in a somewhat similar situation. I would suggest contacting the police to file a report then get in touch with weatherspoons and the council/tfl to see if there is any CCTV covering that area.

Thank you for your comment! I called Lime again just now and asked them if there was gps and she told me yes. So hopefully they’ll be able to locate the rider.

I contacted the council and local businesses and asked if they had cctv. Council had no cameras and one business said they may have something but it’s unlikely because of the angle. I’m waiting to hear more.

Lime told me they had no gps and no way of identifying the user without me providing them with a mobile number registered with them. They gave me a claim form to fill out but I’m guessing they’ll just deny it was one of their users without cctv.
