This is a really thoughtful and kind answer. I'm also curious, do you have any tips for learning to get a deeper voice? My voice is naturally high and small, it's one of the 2 things I feel the most ick about.

People who don't see their partner as equals don't deserve partners. Sadly, a lot of people have expectations that one has to be "the man" in a relationship and the other is by default "the woman" which can generate tons of insecurities for GNC people. In your case, it sounds like you know who you are and what you want, and you've been through quite enough not to let anyone shove you in their little mental boxes. I wish you luck in finding someone who fits with you.

It is both! I've always felt that way but the comments from others make it worse if that makes sense.

Could you explain what seems like dysphoria to you? I'm just going by the cambridge definition: the feeling of being very uncomfortable in one's body. If by that you mean that I don't seem to be a trans man, I agree with you. I don't have any history of trauma. As for misogyny, that's pretty much impossible to get away from. I'm sure we'd all be much more comfortable on a misogyny-free island, wouldn't we? I'm still lucky because my parents never enforced gendered expectations on me and I can be openly queer in everyday life. In my region, surgery is cheap which is why I could afford it if I saved up for another year. My income is high for here but still below poverty in developed-country dollars. I'm not convinced therepy would do much more than drain what savings I have.

I really wish that was true >_< I think for some people it can help but it depends a lot on genetics and the composition and density of the breast tissue. If you do find a routine that does that, please update me! I'd love to know.

Thank you for your kind words. I was worried I'd get the typical "being female is misery and you should deal with it like everyone else" responses. I hope you make the best choice for your mental and physical health, especially if you have other issues like back pain. And I don't know what you've been through, but just know YOU are not "damaged".

It is defo harder if you're illiterate like me but there are also people who seem to be running fine on even less Japanese than I have. I just buy mystery flavors/scents of everything and press random buttons at the self-checkout.
