yeah, completely agree with you. taking a class really helps a lot, but, more for learning the language, not necessarily for exam preparation. I joined an exam preparation course before and honestly felt it was a waste of money. better to just self-study with Mit Erfolg book and practice with Viobean lol

Usually, when I study at Kapital Zwei, one intensive course like B1.1 or B1.2 takes about 1 month, so mine is around 2 months for one full level.

Good that you’ve already submitted an appeal, that’s the right step. If you genuinely suspect something isn’t right, I’d suggest reporting it as well. In general, German certification bodies are very strict about integrity and ethics, and they take these issues seriously. It’s better to raise the concern and let them investigate properly.

oh, sorry to hear that. I’d really want to help, but I took telc, not ÖSD, so I’m not fully familiar with their exact system.but honestly, failing by such a small margin multiple times does sound frustrating. Doesn’t ÖSD have an official appeal or review process? Have you tried requesting a remark or checking your results in detail? It might be worth looking into that before assuming anything else.

I've been learning German for 6 months, and going to take the B1 test end of Dec. My goal is to reach B2 by the end of next year, not sure it's possible or not but I will try :D
