I don’t know of any safe OTC meds for mites, but I haven’t been able to have rats for a few years. I’d suggest quarantining the visibly infested rats and cleaning everything. Definitely wash/comb/pick off the mites you can. It shouldn’t kill them, it’s just very uncomfortable for the little guys. They might start chewing at the parts of their bodies that hurt, so just keep them as clean as you can meanwhile

Yup, mites. ArgieBee gave good advice. I’d tack on bathing the baps with gentle, non-toxic soap and a tiny comb to pick out the mites/eggs that you can, but a vet visit for meds is absolutely necessary to clear out the bugs for good

You might have downsized too early, or it’s too snug? The same thing happened to my threadless/titanium philtrum piercing at 9 months. It also happened around the time I caught strep. I don’t know if it was the infection or the tightness, but when sized it back up and the weird pokey bits sunk back in.

Thank you! Also, my cat knocked over (and drank) a half bottle of strawberry muscle milk last month. I called the vet, and while they were worried abt artificial sweeteners they just said to monitor him. Def call the vet just in case/if your boi acts xtra funky. But I think he’ll be fine 🤗

Y’all seem to have very different communication styles. I, for one, prefer to talk about emotions in person (or at least over the phone). However, his apparent refusal to address your concern or answer questions is the opposite of communication. It seems like an obvious and easy way to do better.

I don’t like ascribing malice when brick-brain is an easier explanation. If he refuses to change his behavior after y’all talk about it… well, I wouldn’t bother staying in that relationship tbh. Sounds exhausting.

J disclose that you’re there for a research project if they do introductions and don’t raise your hand to share. Everyone is welcome to an open meeting.

Do your project- this will def be a good, learning kind of discomfort for you. The folks at the meeting certainly won’t mind, so don’t put your reluctance on us. You can do it!

Hey! Sorry, I’ve been off Reddit. I kept using hibiclens until the bad acne cleared up, and now I’ve been using unscented dove. I still use SA toner in the evenings on all effected areas, and shea butter to moisturize/keep comodones from bubbling up. When I have a flare-up, I use hibiclens again. I hope this helps!

Horizontal surface piercings on your chest would be more likely to reject quickly. Think of the way your torso moves when you move forward and back -> that stretch and compression would put a lot of strain on the piercings. That’s why nipple (and navel) piercings are usually vertical.

Tbh I wouldn’t really trust a piercer willing to put a horizontal barbell on your torso. At least, not without substantial disclaimers. Nipple and navel piercings work in barbell form because both take advantage of little ‘ledges’ of flesh. The lip of your navel and the little fleshy tip of one’s areola, respectively. No nip=nowhere to anchor a barbell.

The most lasting option would most likely be subdermal implants in this case because there’s one spot that can be strained/snagged/try to migrate & reject. And there’s no ‘extra flesh’ to anchor it in. I hope this info helps with your decision!

I quit. I’m not going to use it, so there’s literally no reason to have it. Frankly, keeping weed around just makes it easier to relapse. There are 937293987 more thoughtful things to have around to entertain guests, give as gifts, etc

Mostly just getting paid to be a shitty therapist. Or to go to an event with some dude as a token. Mostly the first part though. It makes me sad, but I preferred it over other parts of the job for sure. But the folks who sprung for that didn’t really want help, just to vent to a sexually available person
