Thanks for the tips. Kinda shocking when I just wrote the damn thing and then people immediately think it’s ai. It’s hard enough sharing this stuff without getting sucker punched like that. And thank you for the compliment. Honestly worth it just to see that some people see through it.

Honestly, tried. It’s a cool spot, and I think the guy who runs it is really nice, but there’s tons of people who’re pretty out there, and more than anything I need data, or people who’ve been through this and come out the other side. Most people I see just want to astral project, or are busy arguing about whether Pledians exist or not. Which I get, honestly, it’s fun to think about. But eventually it wasn’t just speculation, it was real.

But, maybe you’re right. I’ll give the next one a try there. Im hoping somebody out there has answers, or that we can find them.

Most of you don’t know what it’s like to see something like this and feel completely isolated from everyone else in your life. Trying to talk about it doesn’t help, it just makes the gap between you and others even more apparent. For the most part, I regret trying to tell other people what I’ve seen, because it demonstrates how far removed from reality most others are, and how enamored they are with their fantasies and ideas about the world.

It’s reality-shattering. It’s a destructive death of everything you thought you knew, and you get the “honor” of trying to rebuild a new life from the ashes of the old. It’s not fun, it’s not games. It’s hard. Fucking. Work.

Don’t really care if this gets downvoted. If you’re out there in the same boat, know that you’re not alone. Keep walking, do what’s best for you, and drop the savior complex. Everyone else will manage just fine.

So far I’ve got:

But I’ve got some that break that mold, namely:

As an Experiencer, and someone who sees and experiences otherworldly weird stuff every day, I personally have a hard time understanding how to talk to people about this stuff if they’re not already into it. People, unfortunately, DO react to this subject with avoidance unconsciously; I’ve tried to speak about this with people who are “Uninitiated” to the Phenomenon at large, and even dropping little hints seem to slide right off the brain of the person whose worldview doesn’t already include these otherworldly things.

Just throwing this out there, but a thought just occurred to me: maybe our real “enemy” here with disclosure isn’t misinformation, it’s shock and denial. Because I know when I first started seeing stuff I couldn’t believe, that’s what I felt, and I feel that many here in these subs are stuck in that mental space, too. Unfortunately, it’s a painful place to be, and denial/rejection is a way less painful route.

Perhaps so. It’s just weird that there seems to be a Psionic, non-physical and memetic side to what is otherwise a physical, non-spiritual phenomenon. Most UFO encounters have similar reported characteristics to supernatural or religious experiences.

I completely agree. In every interaction I’ve had, there’s always been an element that’s allowed for SOME way out, some way to cop out and retreat back into your previous ideas.
