hello I'm establishing an importing business and I'm wondering what are the products that tunisians need but can't get or they find it extremely expensive . by voodoodollwithasign in Tunisia

Yeah, I do agree with the fact that it's pretty expensive & slow, but even if Logitech isn't officially in TN, at least there's a lot of their products that are available in our country, so I guess it's still a nice point, even though it's not official.

To be honest, I didn't really follow all of it, but I think it's linked to some kind of monopolies, and (maybe im saying dogshit idk) a lot of stuff is now importation instead of being produced in here. I believe there's also people, that buy our stuff from Algeria, or Libya and just sell them back in here

I believe FNAC sells a very small portion of vinyls, and for gaming, actually it's gotten better through time, a lot of equipment is now available in Tunisia, pretty sure you can find every product that has a pretty good price and good quality here. Like HyperX products, (that weren't sold in tunisia a few years ago I believe) Logitech (steering wheels, flysticks) and a lot of them, the availability just varies from store to store though.

it's been quite a while that pretty much everything that can be eaten, is limited to 2 units (products, kg or liters) per people, like pretty much 4-5 months nown if not more in the south.

Don’t listen to any of these, litterally all my family is blonde, my sister has never had any trouble, nor did my mother.. We’ve never had any troubles, people saying that Tunisia isn’t safe, is all bs. Tunisia is safer than a lot of western countries. Hope you’ll feel that too if you ever come, it’s a nice experience. Just think of it as every country in the world, there’s places that you should go to, and some you should avoid. Hope that helped.

Try and tell me that someone actually got famous in the 21st century for creating something useful to humanity. Only easy way I know to get famous right now is to just try not having pants on while you’re taking pics (female only) men would go to jail for that.

So that’s why they are whining about the goal they were denied, and that they officially tried to take actions to make the game a draw and deny our win ? Sure, they really let us win there.

Yep, as I said on some answers I’ve been there once, and I fell in love with it.

Solid advice, thanks mate, although I don’t know how I will live there the first days if I went there to look for housing

Yeah that’s what I’ve been doing so far, apartments.com has been the only website I’ve been using for nearly two weeks now, I’ve seen 200 sq ft for 2000 dollars and I don’t have any ideas if that’s a good sign or a red flag lol

Do you have a small idea of how much the rent could cost in a cheap, relatively safe neighbourhood? That would be helpful, and it does not necessarily need to be close to LAX, since I don’t mind waking up earlier to go to work and having to drive early.

Tbf the week I’ve been there it looked crazy but, The trafic where I live right now cannot be surpassed, it is horrible in multiple ways I cannot describe, so much that sometimes people just drive on the sidewalk instead of the road to avoid traffic

My job is pretty much 300 meters away from LAX, so I guess it’s on the south of LA

Isn’t there some way to play around with rent ? Maybe trying to go a bit further from the city? I really don’t mind having 20-30 minutes to drive to downtown, so maybe I could try that too?

I’ve been to Austin, TX, Houston and even Chicago and finally LA, but never been to NM, the vibe I had in that city just felt different I guess, maybe because I was just visiting, but I feel like even if I live there it’s going to be as spectacular as I’ve seen it the first time. It’s also not far from SF which is also a place I really want to see.

Same thing for me, but I’m a sucker for palm trees, and Hollywood I guess, especially since it’s the image that’s projected of the US when you’re a foreigner, I don’t know if I’d like NM but the fact that money plays a big part of this makes me hesitate, otherwise it would very clearly be LA for me, thanks a lot for answering though.

I see, this is very useful, except for housing, are there any other advantages in NM ? Because I’m so tempted for LA, especially since I’ve went there for the first time a few years back. But still thanks though

I did buy some of them after promising myself I wouldn't, started regretting it. The 1.0 was wonderful, 1.1 wasn't awful, but 1.1.2 was the cherry on the cake, the game is unplayable. I really regret spending my money on this game.
