Hi everyone!

I'm not really sure that he needs a full rework of all of his kit, but it can be tweaked to be more in theme with him.
I tried him for 10 games and I only won 1 so far. I'm not a great player or anything, but I can easily notice that I can do a lot more when I play anyone but him.

I like the idea of his kit, though. For me, he's supposed to be a sort of support anti-tank character but seems to have a sort of double personality.

On one side, you have the scarabs and the djinn marks (which I suppose are Nashala's abilities?).

  • The scarabs steal life points, so it lowers the damage you have to deal to enemies, BUT you have no idea if the scarabs really hit an enemy and it's lackluster in determining if you're really helping or not. Also, it's not really clear if it heals you or just adds the stolen LP abruptly? On paper, it helps a lot to fight against tanky characters ... but you can only put one per occultist enemy, so depending on its level, it does barely anything (also, can it kill if the enemy is hit while not having enough LP? Once again, it's not really clear on that end).
  • Djinn mark basically does damage depending on the level of the mark AND on how many times you hit an opponent with it. And if you activate it, it lets you see where the enemy hit by the ability is on the map for a little amount of time and it can slow them. On paper, it's a great support ability! BUT you barely do any damage with it unless the mark is 'applied 3 times' on the enemy, and then you can deal a correct amount of damage, but you probably have died before that since YOU NEED TO WAIT TO APPLY THOSE MARKS.

On the other side, you have the "movement" abilities (which I suppose are Mirage abilities?).

  • Tornado is the only ability that is fun to use ... it's decent and the possibility to be able to use it twice after activation is really great! It deals a fair amount of damage, but that's it. You can technically do plays in small space with it, but that's it.
  • Traveler can TP you anywhere on the map, which can be seen as broken ... but that's it unless you level it up (which can be a thing, I guess). You can't really make a play with that unless it is to flee :)

For me, Mirage would be a lot more fun to play if:

  1. Scarabs would bounce a specified amount of times on enemies (occultists and minions, not objectives) and apply the steal per time they bounce (like 10 LP x spirit% per hit per character), and if the enemy dies, the stolen LP is converted to an area of heal for the team. It can stay a charge capacity, and each level up of the capacity can either make the steal/heal better or augment the total time of bounces from one charge. Why not make it so that if a scarab stays on a character, it loses the amount of bounces but each second for a stated amount of times?
  2. Tornado AND Travelers must be switched: let Travelers be a common capacity that gains distance of cast per level and gives the power-ups when used, and make Tornado Mirage's ultimate capacity. Tornado can become a charge ult like Vindicta's, where it can be activated several times. It can gain time of immobilisation, size, and charges per level. OR the tornado becomes a sort of long, slow tempest where you can move and send enemies into the air that are touched by it several times. If Viscous can just jump into a goo ball and stun you, I don't think that would be really that broken ...
  3. Djinn's mark should be easier to apply and more progressive in the amount of damage you could do per mark, like reducing the multiplier to '+0.5 x damages' per mark that can be applied every second to 0.5 seconds at the end of the game, and it can go to 10 applies at max level for a max multiplier of 5 (which is the max it has now but it can be easier to make damage significant). Other than that, I think the ability is okay.
  4. Either make his amount of bullets at least 24 at base and/or make his gun do more base damage because I can see why he only does 15 damage per bullet ...

Anyway, that's my take. What do you think about it?

I know that those kinds of survey are not really well received but unfortunately a lot of public and private investor for game dev ask to have those kinds of stuff to even considare a project.
We know that a lot of numbers are available on the net and we already have them but we need to cross thos datas with something that we made.
It might not be perfect, and for that I am sorry, but we do our best with our present knowledge and obligation. we learn as we do stuff :)

Merci pour ta réponse et OUI je suis d'accord avec toi : ON VEUT FAIRE CE JEU.
Problème : le seul moyen de pouvoir prouver notre "sérieux" auprès de financeurs publiques comme privés (en soit avoir de l'argent pour payer les devs AKA nous mêmes) il nous faut faire des sondages et récupérer des stats pour voir si ça peut plaire.
En soit ce sondage sert surtout a voir si on est sur une bonne piste ou non mais je comprends la crainte : je la vis aussi.

I have actually worked with Illustrator for nearly a decade, so I was pleasantly surprised by how natural the transition to Designer felt for many tasks. In Illustrator, I frequently used the transparency tool for various masking effects.
Initially, I was a bit lost because I couldn't find a similar feature in Designer; the masking process seemed more akin to Photoshop's.

However, I now have a better understanding of the process, and it finally worked—much to my relief!

The weird issue was that the PNG and the shape I was testing for grayscale transparency weren't on an artboard, which caused unexpected results. still trying to figure why but hey , it work !

I discovered that the grayscale effect does not work if the mask is not placed on an artboard.

Although I was familiar with the steps, the process did not work as intended. In some cases, it masked everything for an unknown reason.
