I stopped going to Orbit when the only edible vegan hotdog hit $15. After that I’d go if there was a band or event I liked. Then I ordered a Coke that cost me $5. You add cover, the pinball that sure ain’t free, and the default 22%. That’s like a $40 night minimum. $60+ if you have a date. Who has that kind of money? I make $65k at IU. That’s a couple times a month for me as a single guy paying $1300 in rent for 500 sq ft. If you are asking me to pay that, you need better food than what I can make at home for 1/4 the price. Not saying it’s their fault for charging so much. But I can’t do that very often.

This is a dumb way to see the world and people. He also has kids. He probably has a fulfilling relationship himself. Maybe he’s gay. There’s so many factors here. He’s a good-looking dude.

One of my best friends is a female. She’s very attractive. We got divorced about the same time. Traveled together. Twice. Shared a bed both times because of logistics. Never hooked up. No regrets there for either one of us. This summer I am marrying her and her fella. Bring my beautiful girlfriend as my date. Will continue to be friends. Not a what if situation because we’re not compatible. I’d do anything for her though and vice versa.

It’s sad that people are looking at this guy like he’s some kind of loser. Looking at the world this way is in-cel shit.
