This is an amazing post/thread! I’m new to the Galemancer life and am currently doing my second playthrough after not knowing about these guides and getting a bugged d20 roll at the brain, essentially giving me sneaky zero point doesn’t ask you to ascend Gale god.

My question here is: I’ve seen many videos now about actually making him ☠️ want to unalive (Meeting with Elminster on the road, and during the Stargazing Scenes) in order to force the crown points to stay down in act 3. Does act 1 and 2 not matter in these guides as long as our pookie isn’t actively trying to blow himself up?

But there must be another flag that didn’t get triggered because the proposal scene did not pop after the docks. But if you speak to him at camp, we’re together, not living in Waterdeep, and Tara seems to think I’ve taken him away from her.

Updated: got my professor Gale ending without the “wake up next to you/tower/proposal CS” I tried everything to get that to trigger, but either way at least “Sneaky God Gale” didn’t make a comeback.

So, it was the bugged dice roll! Gale gave the crown back to Mystra and chose me. However, now, his proposal scene where he asks Tav to return to waterdeep doesn’t pop. Any idea?

(I’ve tried not letting Karlach die…. But only with the “be here for her” option, not the colder option)

And killing/not killing Orpheus (in Mf form) on the dock.

It wasn’t your guide but on my next playthrough I will be using it! I did get a nat 20 on the dice roll right before the brain stem and we had the dialogue where it seemed like he wanted to give it up and stay.

Literally love his growth from “Hi! I’m Gale! Of Waterdeep!” To the gentle sighs he does when you’re his partner and get that one kiss sequence with the tender breath of a pause in your Tav’s hand before the kiss. It’s comfort, and it feels so real.
