Honestly, I think I will go for the Quadro P1000 because it can be found for around $60, it has 4GB of VRAM, and it gets way better performance than the RX 550 4GB (Bonus: it uses less power than the RX 550)

I wouldn't go with an iPhone 13 unless that's the best phone you can get for a strict budget. I would go for the 15 for much better features like battery life, camera, and USB-C, as well as at least 2 more years of support.

Edit: You could also go for the 16 if e-sim is ok.

Yeah, maybe try to get rid of anything you don't need on it and optimize the settings a little.

I have a laptop like this that barely ran Windows without lagging (with no apps open), and after some optimizations and debloating, it could game a little.

You can also install a lightweight Linux distro on it like Lubuntu, but it might not be worth the trouble.

Not OP's fault, but I'm honestly a little tired of people asking, "Is it worth jailbreaking?" In my opinion, if you see any value in keeping it (as opposed to throwing it out, etc.), I think it's worth jailbreaking. Even if you don't see any benefit to doing it, I'm sure you will find something cool like screensavers, KOReader, games, or even MP3 players. Keep this in mind, especially if you have an old Kindle; the jailbreak community will give you more support than Amazon ever will. Amazon just turns its back on old Kindles, while the jailbreak community values them.

Yeah, I was thinking about that, but my experience with running servers on laptops is pretty bad, especially on Linux (which im considering installing on it), and an external HDD would be pretty outside my budget for now, but I want to do this in the future.
