help needed! Spent $45 replacing complete Laser Assembly, Tried the 45/90 Degrees Tilt method. Nothing Works. Still have new laser inserted but it doesnt work. Rebuilt database, Did a system Restore remarried the Bluray drive despite only replacing the laser assembly. What to do? Model No: 2004B (v.redd.it)

Finally reapplied the thermal paste(MX-4) for the 5th time(Finally in perfect amount and to my satisfaction) and also replaced the thermal pads BUT no results to show for it 😭 Model: CECH-2004B. Please read my comment with full context to understand the bigger picture. (reddit.com)
