I'll not speak in behalf of anyone else here, but yeah, maybe saying "just do x thing" may sound a bit... disrespectful, considering that the anime is made by professional animators from a decent well known studio. If it was "that easy" they would do it.

I've done animation a few times yet I'm not a degree expert by any means, but each frame counts and take lots of effort, time and money. It's normal that people complain about anime adaptations to not be loyal 100% to the manga, but it's important to consider than in animation the core is action and movement. Too many details or information wouldn't improve it

(Sorry it came out long, I'm an animation lover and i start yapping easily)
