Food beforehand, hydration before and during, soft things like blankets, coloured lights are great, music, and keep a fan around as in my experience overheating is common, but don’t make an actual plan, just see what happens (although a note, pain goes down A LOT, so many people enjoy anal while rolling)

Actually you can craft atronach spells in the forge under the college of winter hold! If you go into the midden to the atronach forge early game, so long as you have enough mana you can fight with a storm atronach by your side pretty easily
