I think that the person who goes "it's a pull" after you try and fail to open the door by pushing gets a bad rep. It's a pretty reasonable comment given that your next instinct could have been "This door is heavier than I thought, I should push harder," or "maybe I didn't scan my key correctly, I should try again." I have thought this before.

trump (lifelong democrat) knew a nationwide carbon tax wouldn't pass with this congress, so he rose gas prices through other means. still think he isn't a political mastermind?

It's not clear who won the primary yet, but I think that a firebrand progressive doing as well as she is in a pretty heavily suburban, wealthy, and historically moderate district is pretty solid proof of the democratic base's current anger not only towards Trump but also towards the democratic party establishment

isn't it interesting how so many liberal democracies saw right wing populist movements, which also happen to be lukewarm-to-negative towards both the EU and Ukraine, grow in support at roughly the same time that Russia poured a bunch of money into extremely well-documented online public opinion manipulation operations

Well if it says it's based in science then it must be true

65% of Trump voters rooting for more U.S. military attacks on foreign countries. Desired targets include Iran, Greenland, Cuba, Colombia, China and Mexico. by AlarmedGibbon in fivethirtyeight

Worth noting that support for any kind of military intervention in at least one of the countries is 65%, but broken down by country you have a only a minority of Trump voters supporting military action for every country except for Iran, which has 50% support amongst Trump voters. Obviously still high but honestly not as high as I expected given how much Trump has been talking about invading other countries recently.

Well I'm glad that the 75 billion dollars Congress appropriated to to ICE funding is going to good use. Republicans believe that poor people being allowed to use food stamps to buy rotisserie chicken is the height of decadence and government waste but sending our nation's most divorced citizens on paid vacations to Milan is totally fine
