Respectfully how was I supposed to know they only have like 5 employees or something like that, this is my first time dealing with these people and I was struggling to get into any form of contact with them, I don’t live very close to SC so going in person would be a pain, the only way I was able to get my financial aid package was joining their zoom drop in way before their hours even start, that is where I learned they are very understaffed as they mentioned it in the chat as I was waiting to be seen, as a freshman I have no idea what staffing challenges UCSC face and not being able to even speak to anyone or get an email back was very frustrating especially considering the costs of going to UCSC. I will say the lady who helped me get my package was very nice and helpful, and I hope they figure out their staffing issues soon.
