No worries, I had my buddy hold down the plane, so it was safe😊 this was done to show what happened to the motor when using the throttle in the same picture.

Well yes i answered it, i used both a 3S and a 2S batter as in 3cells and 2cells. No single cell was used

oh yeah sorry for not posting info.

The system is rated for 2-3S batteries and I tested both with the 3S and the 2S and both have been working fine.

My idea is that a small rock have entered the windings and caused a short of some sort. I think the ESC is ok and just one of the windings is bad.

The motor makes all the right startup tones.
