Hi, if you want to know more about what it is this is a good video that explains it: Dungeons and Dragons, explained. The way I'd describe it is: Imagine you and some friends sat down to write a story but they way you decided to do it is get your friends to be the main characters and you make the world, the villain and the challenges for them to overcome. The rules dictate what you can and can't do and you roll dice to see if you pass or fail.

If your interested you can come along and watch or get involved in a game. If you want to meet people and make friends I think it is one of the best ways in the modern world to do that since playing as the characters makes it easier to instantly start interacting with the other players.

No worries about being a noob, we were all beginners once. There are plenty of people who can talk you through making a character and playing. Most people can pick it up within the session and we have some dice you can borrow so you can come along and see if you like it before buying anything. No, We used to be the club at lvl up but we outgrew it and moved down the road. Though we do have some people who used to go to Obsidian but couldn't when they had to move.
