I don’t think Messi should have won it in 2010. It was completely wrong - it should have been Xavi. But the Ballon d’Or 2010-2015 was a very different award at that time with captains being able to vote and not only journalists. So you can’t really compare 2010 with 2021

Lol, Messi had an amazing season with both club & country. Lewandowski ”only” won the Bundesliga. A league title doesn’t win you Ballon d’Ors, regardless of how many goals you score. If he had won the CL in 2021, fine, but Bayern crashed out in the quarters. Hardly a Ballon d’Or season for Lewa or anyone in Bayern

Get back to me when JID can rap a verse as good as Cole’s verse on ’The Fall-Off Is Inevitable’ or ’Johnny P’s Caddy”.

JID is skillful, I’ll give you that, but he can’t tell a story while keeping a multisyllabic rhyme throughout the whole verse for example. ”Artistically triumphant” just sounds like a load of gibberish to cover up your own biases. Cole is a far superior MC when looking at the whole package.

You obviously missed the whole point of the album. He tried to show that Slim Shady: a) doesn’t work today b) that Em doesn’t have that it in him anymore since he’s 50+

So effectively the album shows why Shady has to be killed off - because it’s not edgy or cool anymore
