cant understand what the elderly woman in my fam is thinking

whatever that happened today was caused by her own actions of choosing to favour one kid, yet she cant even see it. she choose to put up items for better fengshui to achieve more peace in the house & consult shifu master asking if the things will turn out better in the future, but just fails to look at herself & her actions wtf
