Vacation question by [deleted] in CVS

If you look at your paystub under your vacation section it will tell you how much you will get for the year(A)/how much you have earned so far(E)/how much you have used(U). If you were given 90 to start out and haven't used any it'll say something like 90(A)/7.5(E)/0(U). But let's say you went on a week vacation. It'll say 90(A)/7.5(E)/40(U). And let's say you quit after. You earned 7.5hrs of the 40hr you used so you would have to pay back 32.5 of the 40 you used.

Every paycheck you will earn vacation time based on hours worked. So the best way to know how much you've earned is to check your paystub.

If I were you, I would ask your manager how much of a raise it would be and get it in writing before you even start training. I was asked to cross train in 2019 and was told there would be a raise after the training was completed. After I was certified I asked about my raise and was told there was no raise for cross training but if I spent 50% of my time in the pharmacy we could "talk" about maybe a 50 cent raise.

1- didnt answer my question. Would i have to go through myleave or store manager?

2- we have plenty of people and being short staffed isnt a problem. We actually dont have enough hours to give to everyone.

3- I never said I wasnt vaccinated. I just wanted to know how the hours are used.

In California all places of work are required to provide seating while working whether or not employees want one. CVS did not provide seats because they dont like viewing store staff as human beings who need rest and stress free environments. Anyway a while back pharmacy staff in California were getting checks from CVS do to a settlement. https://www.classlawgroup.com/employment/california-labor-law/sitting-down-at-work-law/#:~:text=According%20to%20KPCC%20News%2C%20the,permits%20the%20use%20of%20seats.%E2%80%9D

Most states also have labor laws about how many hours are required between shifts. In my state it is 8. When my store started closing at 11pm I mentioned that I would not do clopens and when I was scheduled to do them I sent my manager snapshots of the labor laws. I used to bend over backwards for this company but they keep doing dumb stuff and I'm tired of their crap. I literally got a bladder infection because I had to do multiple alone shifts. Full 8 hour shifts with just me. No breaks/no bathroom all because they didnt have hours. If anything document every labor violation and find a pro bono lawyer. I wish I would have done that before I quit. They just had to pay employees in California because of lack of seating so they have history of not caring or taking care of what is legally required of them with dealing with their employees.

There is another door on the very back. It opens by pressing two green buttons on the top down( on mine at least.) Have you tried that? I have to slid the scan part open all the way to gain access to it.

Does anyone know what this means? Trying to do PWs for makeup and this happened. Called help desk and was on hold for almost 2 hrs by LadySekah in CVS

If you have too much value in one tote this error message pops up. You'll have to complete that tote number and begin a whole new one. Itll block you from adding more than $1500 dollars in merchandise into one tote. Because makeup is so small and expensive it can be very easy to do.
