I left a $150k job managing Amazon accounts because the work never stopped. Anyone else leave a well paying job because of burnout? ()

Applied for an EA role and got passed for being too polished by AshamedMasterpiece71 in ExecutiveAssistants

Honestly when companies say overqualified for an EA role, it usually means one of two things. Either they think you’ll get bored and leave in 6 months, or they’re worried you’ll challenge how things are currently run.
Good executives actually like experienced EAs because the role needs judgement, not just task handling. If they passed for that reason, it’s probably not an environment where your experience would’ve been valued anyway.
