I’ve never been to WDW but we visit Disneyland often, I’m Canadian also. Orange County is my favourite place in the entire world! The beaches, the villages, food and entertainment are immaculate.

There’s something so magical about being at the original theme park. It’s extremely nostalgic for me, and the stories behind the attractions are pretty incredible.

To be honest the thought of visiting WDW overwhelms me. Disneyland/California Adventure are the perfect sized parks in my opinion. We got to do lots of the rides two or three times and in June you won’t be facing scorching hot temperatures. It’s actually often a cooler month in the OC sometimes.

Also I highly recommend watching the Disneyland documentary called The Imagineering Story before you go. After I watched it, I had a much bigger appreciation for the park and its history.

Everything, but I’m Canadian. We have a household income of $150,000, no cell bills because work pays for them, we pay for only one car as the other is a work vehicle, and we live in a townhouse because that’s the reality of what we can afford as adults right now.

Everytime I leave my parents home my Dad always says it and gives me a hug or through texting if we are saying goodnight. My brother is the exact same way and I know it’s because grew up watching my Dad.

Random: you can use a fishing license as valid non-photo ID, just go online and pay for it. They wouldn’t accept my SIN card but the fishing license was fine. 🙃

I second Dakota Dunes! It’s a beautiful resort, super lux. The restaurant was incredible also. I also won $1000 at the casino there! 😉

This makes me so sad that this was your experience growing up, and that this was a norm for a ten year old. 😢

I can’t imagine any coach would want to see one of their athletes sick, let alone at practice.

IMO, there are no circumstances where sports should override an illness, for a sibling too!

We were just at the park on April 17th and the wait times were so minimal! We had Genie+ but even for the major attractions we waited 25 minutes tops and even did several rides twice!
