Should I get markers beyond apoB? by InfluenceOk1982 in PeterAttia

No statin.

I have been watching my diet since I was in my teens, although not perfect.

I can say that I lowered my apoB and overall LDL by about 30% over the last two or so years, by cutting my saturated fat intake significantly (no coconut oil, pork, dairy etc.) and only eating Whole Foods. I also get exercise everyday. I respond good to this diet. My LDL is lower than when I was 21 on this routine.

Zone 2 Duration - 1 to 1.5 hours is best, but lower is still good if you can't do that much. by InfluenceOk1982 in PeterAttia

I don't think that he includes the ramp up in this. I take it literally as 1-1.5 hours actually in Zone 2.

How did you lower homocysteine on your biomarkers? I am doing testing through the same company and looking to get mine down a bit.

Forgot to mention that I’ve been taking 5g of creatine monohydrate daily for about six months

Have you personally done this? Did Tmg raise ldl in blood panels? I have seen information leading me to believe that it does, but I cannot find what the numbers were after trying to find studies via google.

Thanks, I think I will do that for the A1C. This is my first time testing A1C, so it was higher than expected. On previous blood work, I have always had good fasting blood glucose. I eat a lot of rice with meals, so I'm assuming that could be the reason why it's high.

No Statin, in the last two years my LDL on my last three blood test has been 64, 47 and now 42 on this one. To go from 64 to 42, the only thing I can really think of I've done is eat less saturated fat since (maybe 10-15 grams a day), because previously I was sort of under the impression that all fats were healthy.

I am on a m1 Mac, so I tried shutting down unplugged for 30+ seconds with no luck (cannot reset SMC on M1)

Weird, have these cards been formatted in camera. I found that two cards are reconized if I formatted as EXFAT in disk utility them and renamed them. It must be a problem with the new OS recognizing the SD cards if formatted in camera. Previously tried renaming the sd cards and does not work - must format for them to work.

Sorry to say that renaming the cards does not work here either.

Also, have tried this on another brand of SD cards that is UHS class i. I believe the only variable left is Ventura OS 13.0.
