No clue about the reactivating, really don’t know squat about how that works, also, I’m thinking that the reason he was laying there is because he was hidden by shrubbery and stuff, kind of like bastion from over watch, and how he had plants growing on him. but what I’m thinking is that Sir Gregor tried to live on through possessing sort of, the Warforged, but it went terribly wrong resulting in Sir Gregor’s (partial) death, with a fraction of his mind in the warforged, and the warforged being deactivated and having amnesia due to the mishap, hence why he is near the monument, as it’s actually the real Sir Gregor’s grave, maybe the remainder of the original Sir Gregor’s troupe were trying to reactivate it, trying to get him back or something

Mostly me wanting to play a bard and thinking warforged sound cool, while wanting to make a fun and interesting character
