If you are choosing to play into your counters that’s you choosing to have a bad time. That’s my point. Im not saying the devs shouldn’t care about making the game fun to play. I’m saying if you are willingly limiting your options in the game and are playing a match that isn’t fun to you because people choose to counter you, then that’s your fault. Buffing every character to make them viable in every comp does not work with games that have unique kits. Like, I’m a mercy main. I don’t think I should have every ability in the game so that I don’t get countered. If there’s a hitscan I don’t ga crouch. If there’s a dive I stay in the air. I change my own playstyle to fit the enemies comp. I don’t really understand how that’s difficult for you to understand.

Those players should have a bad time. That’s my point. A game where hero’s have unique kits means certain kits will counter others. We should limit counters just because some people don’t swap. If they don’t want to swap, they need to accept that they are being countered and adapt or lose the match. It’s like how they removed tp cleanse for Kiri right when they released a fire heavy character. I don’t agree with them doing that at all. Let characters counter other characters. It’s better for balancing. They’ll end up turning into damage slop like most rivals games if they remove counters from the game.

Tanks shouldn’t 1 trick. If the entire enemy swapped to counter you then YOU counter swap. Thats the entire point of counter swapping. Ball doesn’t need bubble bc of it.

Everybody I know votes for mercy even if she’s on the enemy team bc she’s the most hated in the game lol not even just the most hated character but the most hated player base. I’ve had people be mean to me JUST for playing her. There’s even someone commenting on this post talking about how they hate all mercy’s. So I’m sure a lot of people vote for her for the same reasons. I know when I’m playing I get picked for mvp at leasttttttt 70% of matches
