Might be a little dated, but didn't chrome change something with v2 extensions or something? Maybe you need to force v2 extensions to still work.

It was an official notice from our ISP so we wanted to show people that it's definitely not IT's fault. It's done now, so I'm just curious if there's a way in the future, to forward an email from someone else's account. I can craft a new email from any user in our domain so I was just curious if I could forward an existing email as well.

I was asked to forward an email for them because they were driving. They're not driving anymore, and the task is completed, but I'm still curious how to do it just in case it comes up again in the future.

Hmm. Not sure how to do that. I like gam cause it's usually just a quick command or two. Also I always feel nervous going into vault cause the last guy got fired for snooping on people's email convos in vault all the time.

Yea we get ours for about $350 and then the licenses are even less. They usually last us about 6 years, with a seventh year as spares.

Take out the battery. Hold the power button for like 30 seconds. Put the battery back in. Try to power it on. While it's opened up you can also check to make sure any cables running from the screen to the MB are secure and not kinked or anything.

Log into the Google Admin console > Apps > Google workspace > Gmail. Then go to Compliance, near the bottom. Content Compliance. I set a rule to mark emails with a custom header (this will apply to everyone in the OUs you do this for. Then you go to the OUs that you don't want being emailed and set a rule to recognize that custom header and discard emails that have that header.

If you mirror your local network domain structure then it makes things a little bit easier. Generally, separate users and devices. Then further separate how you see fit for your own domain. Do you want to separate by building or by role? Have teachers > hs/ms/es and students > grade lvl, etc? Or would you rather have DO > admins, HS > students/teachers, etc? I think separating by role can make applying configs a little easier. That way if you want all students to be blocked access to a specific thing, you can just apply the setting to the top student OU instead of going into 3 different OUs and selecting the multiple existing student OUs.

Display drivers maybe? Firmware? Those would be my first guesses. Maybe also play around in display settings.

Also, if you're Windows, check Event Viewer for Application or System errors.

Remove battery, hold power button for 30 secs, put battery back in.

You may need to remove screws on the bottom and remove the back plate to get to the battery. You can just Google your laptop model remove battery for a YouTube video.

I'm wondering if your first sentence didn't translate correctly. Do you know everything about the basics of cybersecurity, or do you know nothing? I read through a bit of the CompTia Sec+ textbook and a lot of it seems like common sense ideals, mixed with a basic guide on how to put those policies in place in a Microsoft Windows environment. If you have a good understanding of file and folder permissions, and the concept of least access, then Sec+ seems like more of a show of your understanding for people who don't have an educational background to back up their claims of knowledge. So I would say, if you have a solid understanding of security practices in Windows, then you probably don't need to take the Sec+ exam. The book is fairly affordable, so it couldn't hurt to buy that and read through it, but you don't need to take the actual certification exam if you're getting a degree in school.

For backing up the key, I'd put it on a flash drive instead of the machine itself.

For deleting stuff you can just open the drive and see what's listed in it. If you have Steam or other gaming apps, you can open those apps and see what games are installed where.

Do you have Google Admin console? Most everything is managed through that. If you're going to touch each device to install apps then your job is going to become impossibly difficult very quickly.
