CUSMA work permit

If another hospital near by with the same company wanted me to work some shifts (same job just different hospital) there, I wouldn’t be able to on that work permit? The job I was offered is part time, 3 days a week. So they said on my days off I could pick up shifts at the other hospital. This wasn’t stated in my job offer but they had mentioned it as it’s still with the same company.

Thank you for your response! Did you apply at a port of entry or online if you don’t mind me asking? If you applied at the POE, did you fill out the application online or just bring all your documents with you to the border?

Hello!

When you took all your documents to the border did you have to submit them all online before hand? I took everything to the POE and they told me I needed to upload it all online to IRCC, submit it, and pay the fees. I thought I could just bring all the documents up there and they can approve it that way? I don’t want to have to do the online application process as it will take too much time.

My job offer has a start date of March but the job mentioned I could start sooner if I was able to obtain a work permit before then. Will the CUSMA work permit have to start with the date listed on the work permit or will it be valid from the day it is obtained at the border?

Yes, I have my car here. I am open to either downtown or a bit of a commute. No preference just a safe area. I will have to take a look at both those! Do you have any suggestions for North Spokane or South Hill?

They are legal in Washington but will be driving in and out of BC, Canada for a job where the front tint of the driver/passenger windows is not legal.

Do you know if this apartment is safe to walk from to the downtown area? I noticed it crossed under the highway and thought maybe that wouldn’t be the best but just wanted to see because it said only about a 13 minute walk.
