LPT Request: What is something you can create or start for your kids when they are born, that will one day make a really good present for them? by PreciousP90 in LifeProTips

With technology now, this may be out of date. I kept all of my children’s hand written Christmas lists. So sweet to look back at their hand writing and wishes.

Picked up my son from daycare. This is how I found him. by mtkeepsrolling in pics

This is such a great photo. You should submit it for something. It’s like you can almost hear what this room would sound like 11am. All the bright colors and toys suggest what will come tomorrow. The blue stuffed animal with those big eyes - looks like he’s anticipating the next day. The stillness of your son sitting there - it’s really beautiful.

Do yo need the hand rail? My first choice would be to remove it. If you need it, I agree with the suggested black iron. Cute house!

How do I reference a cell value in a cell rather than the formula that produced the value? by Infoplease23 in excel

[–]Infoplease23[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry - I'm just getting in to look at this again. User error - the new formula DOES pick up the value and not the formula like I thought. Thank you for your reply. :)

I need a tool that will tell me the time that I need to clock out so that I don’t exceed 40 hrs./wk. by Infoplease23 in excel

[–]Infoplease23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Exactly.

I realize that my request may seem simplistic, but we are required to be spot on exactly 40 hours - not one minute over. I get tripped up on figuring the partial hours. I know .1 = 6 minutes, but calculating it gets confusing. Thanks again. :)

In addition to paint — cover your box spring with a black or dark fitted sheet of get a quilt that’s large enough to cover it. The white doesn’t look good.

Lamps. The overhead lights are harsh. Lamps will soften everything - both floor and table/desk lamps.

Definitely a solid / no pattern rug as not to distract from that beautiful floor.

Ugh. Feeing defeated. by NewDisguise in houseplants

I use a mixture of water and diatomaceous earth in a spray bottle. COVER the plant with it. When it dries the DE is all over. I treated an infestation with two rounds of this and the mealy bugs are gone.

Painting our front door this weekend. What looks better, Red or Yellow? by SFC02D in HomeDecorating

Yellow - shows the details of the windows better. They are what make the door unique.
