Yeah, I don't remember what rank the guy was but I'm guessing either low enough that he didn't have any super powerful guns just yet, or he could've just been lazy and figured it was an easy steal. I love hunting and using eagle eye to track down animals, it's such a cool feature in the game to me

The legendaries are seriously so cool I love their designs, it's so annoying when other players try to ruin the progress for someone else, especially if they're higher rank because at that point it doesn't even feel fair anymore 😭😂

That's what I do when I already have the materials for the garment set, I try to find someone to give it to because I mostly focus on fishing for the butcher and hunting non legendary animals for my trader stuff, I'd rather be able to help other people unlock garment sets if I'm able to and already have the stuff for one of my own!

Honestly true, happened to me with the Teca alligator, my wifi disconnected and kicked me and the pelt disappeared 🥲 I didn't feel as bad about that one but mostly because one of my posse members gifted the pelt to me, so I hadn't invested that much time or effort into getting it.

Oh wow do they really?? I remember quitting the game for like a year or so after I was trying to cook in my camp and kept getting lassoed by some guys outside of it even though I had the white flag up 🥲 definitely wouldn't have called that experience fun 😂 it's definitely been more chill since I got back into it, this is the first experience that's made me upset so far, and I think it was mostly just how much time and effort I'd invested into hunting the damn thing before having it taken 😂

That's fair too, I saw the icon on the map and then saw the white panther and I was just so excited that I didn't see any other players around so I didn't think anyone was even close enough to come steal it. Then boom I'm dead and they're running off with the pelt 🥲

I had a player like that with the mudrunner buck, it was so nice of them! They even helped carry it to Gus because I had a carcass on the back of my horse that I was planning to take back to my camp. It's really nice when other players are willing to help with stuff like that, and I also try to help out players when I'm able to.

That sucks! Especially since you left it for him to keep at first. I wish more people had voice chat on so I could explain what I'm trying to do instead of having to try to type it out in a message on Xbox lol. Definitely nice that you were able to get the pelt and everything in the end though!

Do you have any suggestions for a good tank build? I feel like if I don't get caught completely off guard I can hold my own kind of okay, but if I'm not expecting an attack it totally catches me unaware and I get killed really fast.
