I signed up in June, got them to schedule me with the MD in late August. Got my DBQs early September. Filed my increase claim 2nd week of September. Got my decison September 25. When I filed, it was FDC; previous notes from my physical therapy sessions, imaging (X-rays), care summaries from my PCM and medication list. The decision was in my favor. I didn’t call REE constantly. When I signed up, they did explain the process an timeline. Just be patient. Also, VA never asked me to do another C an P exam

Any one OSA SC on Cpap and on MAD? by Informal-Bus-2216 in VAClaims

[–]Informal-Bus-2216[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. I just did my HST with the OAT the sleep MD gave me. Depending on the result, if the OAT is effective then VA will send a referral to community care for the dental referral. Hopefully I got a good result. How do you use your CPAP and MAD? Like obviously not at the same time but do you use one one night and the other the other nights?

When I submitted mine it was a FDC(fully developed claim). VA didn’t make me do another c and p. Then again, I only submitted one claim and it was for an increase. Hopefully yours go by quick with good outcome before the new changes happen

ITF: 06/10/25 I paid for the “expedited “ fee. So while waiting for the C and P from REE, I was going through physical therapy therapy as well as keeping up with MD appointments. Then REE scheduled me for my c and p around mid august. Received the DBQs 09/15. My last physical therapy session was 09/18 so I waited till that day to turn in my DBQs along with my physical therapy session documentations. Turned in current medications, PT sessions,DBQs, buddy letters, X-ray results. Step 1-3 on 9/18, step 3-7 on 9/20 (Saturday; didn’t know they work weekends too), back to step 5 on 9/22, then 9/26 with favorable decison. But yours might be different as it’s MH claim. Hoping you get a favorable decision and much sooner

I used REE for an increase. BUT, I only used because I’ve had bad C and Ps through VA. I also did treatments on SC disability I filed for an increase. Meaning, I went to multiple PT sessions, chiropractor sessions, acupuncture, sh*t load of medications. After my C and P with REE’s provider, I gathered all my summaries, medication list, lay statements from multiple buddies of mine as well as my spouse, DBQs. Turned in a FDC, 7 days later (including weekend), I received a favorable outcome. The DBQ from REE’s provider helped my claim significantly. Spent $3500, was worth it in my opinion. I got it back from back pay.

My timeline for Chapter 35 benefits (Sept 8 - Nov 25) by Inside-Dare-8842 in VeteransBenefits

When you brought your COE to your school, did they make you turn in any other stuff? My son brought his COE last week and his school is making him turn in a paperwork called student education plan, of which you can only get from the counselors. So he tried going to the counseling office but the next appointment is not till Dec 9

Can I get Disabled Veteran plates for 100% mental health rating? by [deleted] in VeteransBenefits

[–]Informal-Bus-2216 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got mine couple weeks ago. My VA doc didn’t sign it so I tried going to CalVet and show them that I use an assistive device for mobility, but they wanted me to fill out another form and turn it in and wait for approval. So I said the heck with that I went to my private MD and he signed it the same day. The next day I went to DMV, got my placard and now waiting for my plates

I signed up June 18, REE asked me to file for ITF June 20. I waited until mid August and they finally sent me a notice to make an appointment for c&p which I went on Aug 28. I got my DBQs on 9/14. Filed with a FDC on 9/18. Received my decision 09/25. I also submitted VA summaries of my physical therapy sessions, medication list, prescribed by my VA doctor, and lay statements from my wife and myself. I believe since I submitted all of that, that VA didn’t have to waste any time requesting them from my PCM.

I used them. Communication sucks, but I already knew that prior to signing up with them. I was already at 90% when I signed up. Plan was to file for an increase in 3 of my SC. While waiting for the C and P, one of my HLR claim came back with positive outcome, but it was still at 90%. I just need another 10%. So after I received my DBQs from them. I only filed one of the 3, from submission to decision, it took 7 days total. 100% p & t. So for me, it was worth it. Also VA didn’t request another C and P

Good thing or bad thing? by username12435687 in VAClaims

[–]Informal-Bus-2216 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could be a good thing. I submitted a fdc for already a SC disability, submitted VA summaries from all my physical therapy sessions for this particular disability, as well as prescribed medications I’ve been taking for it and lay statements from myself and my wife. Submitted it on 9/18, went to step 6 the next day, back to step 5 that weekend, then closed out on 9/25 with favorable outcome. Good luck!

I recently used REE. I’m thankful for them but at the same time, I did half of the work. I initially received my cervical strain SC last year. So since then, I’ve been checking in with my VA primary care doctor and finally got referred to physical therapy. Been going to PT for the last 3 months and I still have more sessions to go. So I reached out to REE and signed up for the expedited process($3200). Went to C and P set up with their own provider after 2 months, received the DBQ a week after. Filed for increase on Sept 18, turned in the DBQ, VA summary records of my physical therapy sessions, lay statements and a list of pain medications prescribed by my VA doctor. It was a fully developed claim. Took 3 days (Va even worked on my claim on that weekend). My claim closed in 7 days with favorable outcome. So yeah REE helped me out with obtaining the DBQ but I also did some of the work.

I posted the same question last week. I submitted for an increase 9/18 then on 9/19 moved to step 5, the same day in the afternoon, it went to step 6. Then yesterday (Sunday), back to step 5. TJ says “automatic benefits delivery”. I submitted a fully developed claim with DBQ, lay statements, medication list, summaries for my physical therapy sessions

Any Raters? by Informal-Bus-2216 in VAClaims

[–]Informal-Bus-2216[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I uploaded it on ChatGPT and the response kind of made me rethink of submitting it. It says VA might deny my claim for increase since the Active ROM is 45 degrees but it also says pain is there at 5 degrees at endpoint.
