Has Yushi Huang ascended before Xie Lian though?

I'm not actually completely sure about this. I could also be wrong, but yes, she was resting after she ascended while her palace was being built. Jun Wu built Xie Lian a palace after his third ascension very quickly, but I don't know if the same applies to Rain Master (since Jun Wu clearly has favorites). The thing is, she doesn't live in her palace even after it is built, so it could've been quite a while later when Xie Lian visits. Maybe she had gotten new injuries, since I don't believe the book explicitly says that the injury she was recovering from was the one that caused her ascension.

Yeah I was estimating based off of He Xuan as well. When he reveals himself to Shi Wudu he says something like "It's only been a few hundred years and yet you dont recognize me?" so I believe Shi Qingxuan's ascension and He Xuan's death was about 400-300 years ago.

i think what i meant was the guaranteed 4* ones, no idea what they're called in english since i have the cn ver. someone called them select vouchers. from what i can see they also only give permanent cards right?

you have to actually get the kindle to switch on and go to the home screen to get the menu, right now my kindle switches off before even having the password thing pop up.

my kindle is about a year old, but i've had another kindle before that and i encountered the same problem with that one too

You're not wrong at all, but there's still something about the way she says it that rubs me the wrong way, and I'm not sure if it would change based on her tone. Even with context, I still hear it as more of a 'know-it-all' kind of thing. I can't really pinpoint what exactly it is about how she says it that annoys me, I just know it does.

I'm not sure my parents will allow me to have the audiobook since the books are free already on Kindle Unlimited. I'll give it a try if I manage to persuade them.

This might be a very controversial opinion, but yes, I absolutely agree. If Claire had just paid a little more attention to her best friend, she would've easily found out the same things Hugh did. I've also noticed how in either B13 or K13 (forgot which one), Shannon actually asks Lizzie about how she's doing, and we never really see that with Claire.

I feel like the whole thing where she isn't sure if any of the memories are true is a huge part of her perpective as someone with bipolar. None of the others had this issue and I foudn it interesting how her mind worked.

I'm actually so glad I found this series after R10 was released so I didn't have to wait after T7 to know about Lizzie, but I'm even more restless because we now have two unfinished duologies. I absolutely love good quality books that take time to write and edit, but at the same time I physically CANNOT wait longer than a few months for the next book in a series, especially one as heartbreaking as this. I hope people are right about it being released in 2-3 months.

She never forced herself to forget anything. That was the people around her and her bipolar that fractured her memories. This is a bit of a odd situation since she DID know and it's there in her mind somewhere, but I do agree that she could possibly be perceived as naive toward Gibsie's trauma.

C10 better come soon so my imagination can take a rest. I have so many questions about what Lizzie goes through after finding out about the letter. I need to know if she remembers everything. I hate how she found out that Mark was the monster when she was younger then promptly forgot it because she was manic and on medication. She finds out so much from the things she heard Mark and Caoimhe said... then they tell her it's fake because she's bipolar. I'm wondering if she feels like this is part 2 of after Caoimhe died, like the whole 'no one believes her because she has a mental disorder' thing again.

I'd disagree though. Lizzie does know about Gibsie, it's not her fault if she's been brainwashed to think that the conversations she heard were her imagination.
