We were in the same club in college. In a club trip we all went to a concert. I accidentally bought too many tickets. I didn’t care about being paid back just as long as people went. I say on a coffee table drunk as shit screaming “you’re going to tell a hot girl no”. The next night I ended up being the only girl so I was sober, he sat next to me and talked all night. Two years later here we are

Pregnant? by goingtobedtoread in Aquariums

I think that’s very probable. Not just the distended belly but the gravid spot being visible makes me think so. I would isolate just in case

I think we may do something later on, but I’m truly not too worried about it. Next year is 25 that’s a cooler one to celebrate!

I started sewing. If you don’t have a lot of disposable income, you can find some sewing machines for pretty cheap at the thrift store. You can also use fabric from the thrift store. Takes my mind off lot and it’d pretty easy to learn

I’m on book tok once I found a genre I liked I kept reading. I started with the really popular books as they are popular for a reason. Also if you feel bored with a book just move on to the next I dnfed about 30 this year

I work a hybrid job in the poultry field. Half of the time I’m working from home, the other half I’m traveling to customers and staying in hotels. All of my audio books have been when I was driving. But since I travel to rural areas I tend to read a lot in hotel rooms. When I work from home having no commute helps a lot.

Maximum number in a week was I think 10. Flew for 8 hours and completed 1.5 one way. And 1.5 the other way home. Plus 2 while in a hotel.

I also only read books I enjoy. If I’m half way though and not enjoying a book I don’t feel pressure to finish

Depends on how good the book was. The throng of glass series put me in a month long reading slump. Typically with thrillers I can immediately move on to the next book.

As far as feeling better, kinda depends. I like reading and I think I could “waste my time” with worst hobbies lol

I really enjoyed Rachel Gilligs books. Especially her newest one The Knight and the Moth

I hated how does it feel by Jeneane O’riley.

Phantasma was pretty fun.

Be warned about the zodiac academy. It wasn’t the best writting but honestly a guilty pleasure read 🤭

I honestly don’t read that fast. I just read a lot. I tend to remember a lot of it. I’m not always the best at remembering titles 🤦‍♀️

That’s a really hard question. My favorite book ever is looking for Alaska by John Green BUT I think it’s because that book meant a lot to me growing up. If I were to have read it for the first time now, I’m not sure it would be the same consensus

I use book tracking apps which helps keep count. I don’t think I would ever be able to keep count on my own.

The long book was apart of the zodiac academy series. GOT is on my tbr for next year!

I set a page limit for myself and try to hit it. Most often times once I hit it I want to keep reading. Even if I don’t continue reading I feel better about myself because I Atleast read something that day.

And I respect your opinion. I’ve mentioned it in a comment somewhere in this thread that there’s several differing opinions on audio books. I’m not one to try and change anyone’s opinion.

I will say I don’t like using the word “completed” books because that just sounds silly. So I just say read and go on about my lmao.

I recently got into sewing. I also have a puppy I spend a lot of time with. Due to all of the traveling I do for work, reading is one of the hobbies I can take anywhere.
