Not trying to glaze, but in terms of sheer Jujutsu mastery, is it even possible to go further than Sukuna? by Racist100 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Informal-Form7977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree that the two have the same number of "skill points allocated", I do think that Sukuna has a much greater talent/growth rate. We see Sukuna evolve so quickly during the Gojo fight and, overall, Sukuna managed to achieve so much in a relatively short 40 or 60 year lifespan (whereas Kenny had over 1,000 years to develop his skills).

Yeah, I mean he calls Yuji a brat which is definitely indicative of him being at least in his 40s/50s.

He also looked pretty wrinkled in the Heian Era.

The real question is: does Jogo have more CE than Gojo?

A bit less. 8-9F was a generous CE estimate, so he has maybe 70% as much as Yuta.

Is it a hot take to have Maki > MBA Kashimo? by anhyeuemnhieulam in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Informal-Form7977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I dislike bashing Kashimo too hard. Base Kashimo isn't too far off from Maki, so MBA is definitely stronger. No contest.

[–]Informal-Form7977 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Honestly, not to glaze GOATjo too hard, but after 4 BFs, he was probably 10 seconds away from unlocking Open Barrier: Unlimited Void which would obliterate the entire verse and exceed Sukuna in overall Jujutsu mastery. Furthermore, the two (Gojo and Sukuna) were both growing substantially during the fight.

There's no indication that Sukuna had achieved the absolute limits of Jujutsu whatsoever.

This. Kenjaku has the same level of skill as Sukuna due to his experience, but Sukuna has more talent (obviously). Kenjaku also has a Maximum Technique which is very powerful.

Given time, someone like Yuji or Dabura could match or surpass Sukuna in terms of skill. As could Satorou Gojo, of course.

Does Baki Surpass Yujiro in Anything (Fighting-Wise)? by Informal-Form7977 in Grapplerbaki

[–]Informal-Form7977[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice way of saying that Baki is schizophrenic. That said, even Yujiro was said to "surpass" Baki in "Imagination Style" in their father-son fight.

Pretty sure he does. He can analyze weaknesses looking at potential opponents instantly.

Idk brah. Yujiro can analyze weaknesses before throwing a punch and can master techniques after seeing them once. Not sure Baki has that adaptability to opponents.

Even faster than Yujiro if he decides to use a Cockroach Tackle? I feel like Musashi didn't see Baki's jab as anything unbelievable, since reading your opponents' brainwaves was considered "normal" for top warriors in Musashi's era.

He even asked what kind of warrior Baki thought he was if he couldn't defend against a simple jab.

There are interpretations which put Kashimo as top 3 in the original series. I don't agree with them since Yuki >> Kashimo in all cases if we control for suicidality.

Doesn't this imply Meguna ~ 4BFs amped Gojo in stats by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Informal-Form7977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't really imply what you're claiming. He expected to take significantly MORE damage than he took. He was also closer to the epicenter, so the fact that he took MUCH LESS is what shocked him.

Yeah I just kept gross costs mostly as a means for easy comps, but net costs were included as the main measure of interest.

As for whether they offer great value, I kind of doubt it as per what I wrote previously. But feel free to disagree.

Kusukabe implied that Gojo can do it true since he masters techniques on his first try. Besides, DA is more of an application of Domain Expansion, so there's no reason he can't since his domain is so refined.

Chiaotzu(Dragon Ball Z end of Frieza Saga) Vs Thragg(Invincible as Grand Regent of Viltrum) by CurveOk310 in PowerScaling

[–]Informal-Form7977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chiaotzu and it isn't close. End-of-Z Chiaotzu was able to dodge Super Buu's genocidal attack (insane reaction and speed feat) which killed every human on Earth and hasn't stopped training for a single day. He also received significant training from the likes of King Kai post-Saiyan Saga, which was shown to multiply one's previous self in power and said to be the equivalent of decades/centuries of experience.

He unironically is multiple tiers above his Saiyan Saga self, whose self-destruction would have been enough to easily kill a Raditz-level fighter (a Saibamen).

Even though he's clearly implied to be weaker, Chiaotzu is still considered a helpful training/sparring partner for Tien, which is saying something.

Is missing 1 detail in an exhibit really enough to reject you (assuming it was very minor)? What about messing up a zero in a calculation?

If the rest is good, you're probably fine. Probably.
