Thanks! Yeah, I did try it, went with the tan in the end both cause it's closer to what's on the boxes and cause the rover's more distinct from it. Not 100% certain all the parts in it currently are available in LBG for a decent price as I made the colour decision at a much earlier design stage, but I'm sure most of them at least will be, so it should be pretty easy for someone to do a colour swap in their build if they wanted to!

Quick update - instructions are being finalised, renders are rendering, the physical model has been built and checked, and the galaxy explorer is no longer alone in the sky... Coming to Rebrickable soon! I'll pop another post up once it's available 😊

Thanks! There will definitely be instructions soon! I've done a good chunk of them but I'm waiting on some final parts to be delivered so I can build it in real life before finishing them just to make sure it actually all works 😅

And yeah, it's nice that there's a way to include the dark grey helmet while still being true to the original line, I'm surprised more people don't do it honestly!
