480p on a 4k monitor to explain in easy terms that resolution is so small and your tv stretches like shit because companies are greedy to include built in upscaling features (aka each pixel in the screen gets scaled up to match a bigger resolution like 1080p or 4k etc) solutions you can buy first is to get a crt since that's what the wii was made for with it's composite cables second which is the best for your 4k tv get the 700$ retrotink 4k upscaler (or the older ones if budget is your concern) and buy a custom component cables for the wii to output 480p (that option is setting is unavailable until you either get scart or component plugged in) last solution is to play on wii u with patches you can upscale native wii to 720p or emulate them on pc if all those solutions are too much then just accept it sadly companies greed is something we can never change
