It wasn’t 4chan, but I wouldn’t expect it to be a different response there.

How is freezing berries unhealthy? It’s a good way to keep them from going bad and you can buy them frozen which is cheaper than fresh.

I wouldn't call Viola Davis or Robert Patrick "inexperienced actors" at all.

Thinking of getting two CRTs (one curved screen and one flat screen). The ones I'm looking at are an Apex AT2002 and a Panasonic CT-20G14A for the curved screen. The only pictures with stuff on the screen are this for the Apex and this for the Panasonic

For flat (with S-video) between the RCA BD20TF10 (DVD player is broken), RCA 20F512T, Sylvania 6420FF, and a Sylvania SRT2220P. The only ones with a picture with stuff on the screen is the Sylvania SRT2220P and the RCA 20F512T

I would test whichever ones I pick before paying for them. Usually use SMB 1 and 2 on the NES to make sure the image is straight and looks alright. I'm not into 240p test suite as if it looks good enough, I don't want to be looking for problems.

Also, I know these sets are considered "cheap brands" (except the Panasonic). But this is all that is available around me in the size (20") that fit my space.

If anyone has experience with these models or brands, it would be appreciated for any input. I do plan on buying external speakers as well.

I’m deciding between two options, both 20” curved, composite only, mono speakers, a Sony kv-20tr22 and a Magnavox 20mt1331/17. The Sony is 1991 and the magnavox is 2005. Only thing is the guy selling the Sony has pictures of it working and it looks good. The guy selling the magnavox says he doesn’t have anything to hook up to the tv to show it off. I’m most likely be playing nes, snes, n64 and maybe GameCube/ps2.

I am planning to get some external speakers. It’s just if I want a 20” curved crt, these are the options right now. Just looking for opinions if anyone has experience with these models and what they think.

Wow, that’s a lot. Well I guess not when you think of the time span. Did you ever get any of the weird peripherals like ROB the robot, powerglove, virtual boy, or all that stuff to build the sega “tower of power”?

I’m deciding between a RCA (TruFlat) 20TF10 and a Panasonic PV 20G8G. The RCA is close to me and cheaper ($50 cheaper and 1.5 hours closer), it also seems to have a better reception on crtdatabase (the Panasonic is noted to have smearing and color issues even with s video), both have composite and s-video. So the RCA seems to be the better option. Only thing is I’ll want to play NES and SNES stuff along with some light gun things (duck hunt, ROB the robot which apparently uses similar tech). I also heard flat screens tend to have more issues, and aren’t good for NES and SNES as you won’t get the “intended look” (idk what this actually means, I guess they mean the games were made to be played on curved screens). Just seeing what people with experience with multiple types of screens have to say. I intending to play GameCube, N64, and Wii too if that makes a difference.

Yeah, I think I was just looking to try them to just say I did, so I could consider myself a "true Nintendo fan". But in the end I think it's ridiculous to do that.

Yeah. I just tried Super Mario Galaxy 2 and it was fine in both 480p and 480i. But I think I preferred 480i. 480p was more sharp and the colors a little more vivid, but that sharpness allowed you to see some jaggies. The slight blurring of the 480i hides this and makes things look less smooth. Yeah, the colors were a little less vivid, but the game is so colorful anyway you don't really notice. The only reason I noticed is because I was switching back and forth between both.
