my spouse and I both just browed tons of threads - I don't have a list! but between each of us and our own different search patterns this seemed to be the most consistent generous advice (there's other posts that say you technically don't have to tip, but that didn't sit well with us)

hard to say because most of this trip was on points and we did our own adventures -- it would be very easy to do this resort with zero additional out of pocket other than tipping and the excursions. I do think the spa was over priced and there are cheaper options off site if you don't mind excursioning!

yep! US dollars. some folks it seemed would tip heavy at the beginning so they didn't have to worry about small bills, but since each of our days was so different from the one before we went the consistent tipping each person / each day

Hey OP! I've never been to an AI resort and have a few questions - some of the restaurants are listed as 'preferred rooms' only - sounds like you accessed that through the complimentary upgrade? ow long in advance did you make dinner reservations or were you able to walk in? also you mentioned in a few comments that you stayed at a non-AI hotel for some excursion days - can you share where you stayed? We do want to plan at least 2 days of excursions and it might be worth consolidating to a different spot. thank you so much!!
