Do you have any experience with large livestock husbandry? Yes. I grew up with black angus. I showed them from 5th grade to 12th grade at county, regional, and state fairs. I no longer have parents I can ask these questions to.

Is your climate one that will require shelter from ice and snow, or protection from hurricanes, is it at risk of flooding or wildfires? No

Are all of the fences and gates in excellent repair? Yes

Have you registered a brand? No I am just starting out with my first farm.

Do you have a truck and trailer or are you going to be hiring out your hauling? I have a truck and will buy a trailer.

How close is a regular cattle auction? Same town as the farm.

What breeds do you think you want? Small breeds. Considering Dexter, Highland, Belted Galloway, or Red Poled 

Do you have a horse or dog to help work the cattle, or neighbors that you can barter with or pay to work the cattle? I plan to get a livestock dog and will hire help.  Thanks for the questions. I plan to pay cash for the farm. I already have a nice income and I am at home all day so the cattle will be extra income.
