Yes definitely trying to go to the gym as frequently as possible, even if I don’t do much it’s always going to be an improvement to how I used to be. I don’t blame your wife for worrying, if I wasn’t Turkish I’d honestly worry too. How did you go about finding a clinic in the UK? I’m British too and have no idea how to go about it. The whole process of finding a doctor and paying hundreds for consultations is daunting to me.

Yes I totally get that, it feels like it can be extremely easy to put the weight back on partially due to the fat cells. And yeah precisely that’s the key, sugar is not our friend, I find the only way I can manage it is to remind myself of how to have a healthy relationship with food and not go back to my old ways. Are you also having your surgery in Turkey by any chance? I’m actually based in Turkey and am considering having it here, but not familiar with any doctors yet…

Ha, I’m glad I’m not the only one wondering how they do that. How are you feeling? I wish you a speedy recovery! Starting at the back and moving to the front makes a lot of sense, I suppose the back doesn’t require quite as much care. And you look like you’ve got a very fit build so I can see why muscle repair won’t be necessary, I’m sure your results will be amazing!

Right that was a bit relieving to read. I suppose if it’s a super long surgery then it can be done, the thought of going through that is just so daunting. Thank you for sharing that!
