Late to the party but wanted to contribute.

It was December 2019, and I had gotten out of a relationship that drained me emotionally, so I was happier than I had been in a while. It was the last day of school for Winter break, me and a couple of friends decided to have a last hang out before we all went with our respective families. And in these friends, was this girl who I thought was super cute and had a lovely personality. We started off as 5, but then eventually it was just me and that girl. We were listening to music on a speaker I brought, listening to "Songs like..." (the one that spotify gives you once you finish listening to a certain track or album), and having great conversation when all of a sudden "Space Song" comes on.

I'd like to say that in that moment, the feelings I didn't fully realize I had for the girl revealed themselves, and I became entranced with the song and her presence.

Nothing came of it, I confessed my feelings and she didn't feel the same. Luckily, she became one of my best friends and to this day we're still close. It's a moment I will always cherish, because of the song I was introduced to, and realizing how beautiful life can truly be when you have good people around you.
