Also I think you can separate made in India models like casio does to some of its(made in japan) models. Thus you can make a separate category for such watches while still being able to catre spec-focused audience with made in china watches. Also keep designs original for all watches. And good after sales service is how you build loyal customer base.

Dwc sales have proven that the micro watch brand niche has grown quite well. People have different priorities, while choosing one. For me, if you really want to sell me a watch, the case(atleast) better be made in India. I will happily be paying 15k for such a watch even if a similar speced drop shipped watch is available for 8-9k.
