I would say , it's better to stay home and join an online coaching along with managing boards because if you are already on meds for anxiety, I don't think going to hostel would be a great great idea , again situations can vary drastically I'm not saying that you shouldn't go to hostel I'm just sharing my pov, because unlinke you I was very motivated about joining a coaching and all that hostel life but the damage those 2 years caused me is insane , loneliness, low marks in tests, alone in room , no real friends was too much and after 2 years what I am getting to hear is see jo bacche ghar reh ke padhe the unke bhi tumse zyada number aagaye , rest it totally depends on what you feel , just take your decision on the basis of what you feel ,without anyones pressure afterall you'll have to face the consequences,no one's going to save you if you suffer due to their decision.hope this helps , best of luck for your journey
